In His Hands Children’s Home is located in Trinidad, Texas. Renovations on a 10,000 square foot building have officially begun! In order for this building to meet state regulations, renovations are necessary which will cost approximately $100,000. Building updates include installing four bathrooms, updating the kitchen, new air conditioning systems, staff housing, furniture, sewer pump, water heaters, phones and internet, new flooring, new roof, washers and dryers, fire and security systems, playground equipment and fencing. With these renovations, the facility will accommodate about 20 children at a time. The house will also accommodate two sets of house parents and other live-in staff to care for the children.
